TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PAYMENT
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click
on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After
you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked
for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit and debit card payment in £ sterling, U.S.$ and Euro €.
If you are purchasing from outside the UK and your currency is not £, US$
or € your card company will convert your payment from the price in £ sterling
to your local currency. You may send your credit card information via phone,
post or over the Internet.
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Switch or Maestro.
Orders may also be placed via our on-line shop with payment sent seperately
by post in the form of a sterling cheque or money order.
SECURITY
We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer technology) to collect your card details.
When you place an order with us the golden padlock padlock will appear on the final page where you enter your card details. You can also confirm that the page is secure by checking in the address box which will show https:// at the beginning.
Encryption occurs on your PC and decryption only occurs on our computer system. At no stage is the transaction decrypted whilst it travels over the Internet, or whilst it is stored on a web site. In addition, orders (including credit card details) are only stored on our web site until we download them to our computer. Hence there is no large store of orders available online to invite attack.
Bare Necessities do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies
are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of
your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
DELIVERY
Orders will be despatched complete within 48 hours of receipt, subject to
payment and all garments being in stock. Should a garment be temporarily
out of stock we will advise you of the estimated delivery date.
VAT at 15% is already included in the purchase price of all goods for
purchase within the EEC.
For countries outside Europe, VAT will be deducted from the total price
of goods when we receive your order.
Orders placed in US$ can only be shipped to countries outside Europe as
VAT (tax on goods in the UK/Europe) has already been deducted from the price.
Postage and packing charges:-
UK £3.00 or £6.00 for next day delivery
Europe £9.00/€10.80
Rest of the World £12.00/$17.40
All items are despatched by 1st
class recorded delivery in the UK and by International 'signed for' delivery or
'Airsure' for Europe and the Rest of the World.
POSTAGE IS FREE FOR ORDERS OR £200 TO ANY DESTINATION.
If the original order was for over £200, receiving free postage and the returned items bring the value of the order to below £200, then the normal rate of postage will be deducted from the credit due on the returned items.
CUSTOMS & DUTY
Customers are responsible for any import duties & taxes which may be levied
on any shipment outside Europe plus any added charges for Customs clearance.
RETURNS
We aim to provide complete satisfaction. We are happy to exchange/refund
garments provided that they are returned, at the customers expense, within
10 days of the invoice date for UK and 21 days for Europe and the Rest of the World. In compliance with hygiene laws all the items
must be in their original unworn condition, with all tags and labels still
attached and in their original packaging.
ITEMS NOT RETURNED IN THIS CONDITION WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED/REFUNDED AND
WILL BE RETURNED TO THE CUSTOMER.
If the original order was for over £200, receiving free postage and the returned items bring the value of the order to below £200, then the normal rate of postage will be deducted from the credit due on the returned items.
