While shorter days and colder weather may not be everyone’s cup of tea, one thing we can all get excited about when it comes to autumn/ winter is new season trends!

Still a big trend is the 70s, to avoid looking ‘fancy dress’, add just a touch of 70s-inspired styling to your outfit by, for example, adding a fringed bag or opting for a blouse or dress with a folksy print.

With winter comes the need to wrap up warm and this season there are a few ways to look bang on trend, firstly there is the kimono-style coat, which can be worn open or belted for a more structured look. Also on trend is trench-style coats in fabrics such as wool or, for that 70s feel suede. 

Colour-wise, autumn/ winter can often be uninspiring with a palette of plums and chocolates, this season however, expect to see flashes of midnight blue, pink, grey and the big colour of the season – camel. Fantastically versatile, camel complements most skin tones and coordinates well with many other colours.

Of course, when updating your look do not forget your lingerie, while lighter fabrics and colours may have worked over the summer and are perfect for under light, sheer fabrics, during the winter you may want to update your lingerie to include warmer tones and embellished designs.
